JOB OVERVIEW

Located in Shenzhen, China, Our Client strives to become a world leader in biologics CDMO providing first-class, large-scale biologics CDMO services to international biotech companies. Their clients can rely upon the most advanced equipment and process design, a world-class management team, and services tailored to client needs. Led by Michael Garvey, they have built a global management team with industry veterans from Lonza, Samsung Biologics, Roche, Novattis, and other pharma giants.
Together they brought Our Client a wealth of expertise and experiences in R&D, GMP manufacturing, and global regulatory affairs and quality control. Working with global partners, including Alfa Laval, Cytiva, Sartorius, Thermo Fisher, Siemens, and IBM, the company is also building the first AI-supported Smart Bio-Factory in Asia. Based on Digital 4.0 principles, Our Client is combining the power of IoT, augmented data analytics, and autonomous manufacturing system, to revolutionize biologics CDMO services.
In addition, provides a unique advantage in finance and platform support, working with leading institutions investors to establish VC funds of to 10Bn RMB in total size, focusing on biomedicine projects.
This remote role is for someone who identifies and drives opportunities to grow the European Business, based on deep market understanding and customer insights, and ensures sales activities, marketing and communication strategies deliver defined goals to seed the innovator biosimilars market and achieve defined territory business development targets.

 

Skills Required

Requirements 

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology related Science min

PhD preferable

Biologics/ Bioprocessing related Science preferable

5+ years in biologics related industry

Key skills and experience

  •  Drive adoption of CL capability by pharma/biotech innovators and biosimilars by actively prospecting for and securing customers
  • Achieve E.U. Business Development goals, typically expressed as numbers of specific deal types
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Business Intelligence and operations to design and implement marketing, business development and communication strategies and to deliver them
  • Drive achievements through E.U. with focused marketing campaigns, which would typically include attending relevant conferences, roadshows and digital programs
  • Work with relevant CL colleagues, and assess relevant market research, to establish a thorough understanding of the innovator and biosimilar ecosystem in the E.U. in order to roadmap the client opportunity, customer perspectives and competitor landscape
  • Reports to VP EU/US
