JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Corporate Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist will lead and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of purchases processes for raw materials and packaging materials to obtain finished products, through coordination with outsourced production plants. The ideal candidate is highly inquisitive, and results oriented with a high desire and ability for continuous learning. In addition, the candidate should be computer savvy with great communication and organizational skills as well as an ability to adapt to changing priorities. A comfort and facility for managing multiple processes and interpersonal skills are a must in a very fast-paced and multi-task environment

Skills Required

University professionals with degree in Business Administration, Engineering, and International Relations.

Exceptional analytical and research skills with high-level attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, depth, and objectivity.

Ability to work through large amounts of information to determine the need to know vs. the nice to know information.

Excellent time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize among multiple projects.

Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into cogent executive summaries and recommendations. Persuasive and diplomatic interpersonal communication style.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Self-starter and results-oriented: able to determine approach required to identify trends and draw appropriate conclusions.

Creative problem solving and flexibility to work with a dynamic team in a changing environment.

Ability to understand concepts and communicate in a professional environment.

Strong people skills and teamwork.

Job experience of at least 5 + years in similar positions, within the pharmaceutical industry (widely valued).

Proven experience working with international markets.

Key skills and experience

  • Design, define and implement action plans for the efficient management of the purchasing process of raw & packaging materials and supplies for the businesses that you lead.
  • Leadership and consolidation of the Forecast for purchases of raw & packaging materials and supplies.
  • Ensure the proper management of the manufacturing and secondary conditioning of the finished product by third parties.
  • Analysis and processing of purchase orders.
  • Leadership of the adequate supply of finished product to each subsidiary in coordination with the points of origin.
  • Challenge and alignment of demand volumes for the business (s) you lead.
  • Detection, analysis, development, and implementation of processes that collaborate with a better management of the responsibilities of the role.
  • Continuous and constant interaction (day by day) with partners, subsidiaries, suppliers, and clients abroad.
