Skills Required

1 5+ years of related work experience in advertising, marketing, or B2B marketing with a CRO, CDMO or a full-service agency, preferably with a focus in life science, health care, or pharmaceuticals
Experienced B2B marketer, skilled at developing holistic, omnichannel integrated marketing plans as well as developing, driving, and deploying strategy
Able to work in a fast-paced, quality and results focused environment
Must be able to simultaneously focus on big picture, details, and driving results
Strategic and growth mindset paired with exceptional critical-thinking skills
Solution oriented
Proactive and thorough communicator, both verbal and written
Experienced in B2B marketing and/or marketing in the life sciences industry
Travel may be required, as necessary

Key skills and experience

  • Executive on client accounts – develop strategic program work for global drug dev/biopharm clients, along with client team inclusive of Account Manager and Project Manager, as well as service lines
  • Building strategic marketing plans, product/service launch, brand development, support M&A activity
  • Responsible for the success of multiple company’s Circle or FSP client relationships by helping them reach their goals and increase value
  • Support achieving the company’s sales revenue and forecasted goals
  • Maintain communication and build relationships with client’s executive team/decision makers
  • Orchestrate and utilize internal and external resources for the best advantage of the client and the company
  • Utilize network to make introductions and partnerships
  • In conjunction with AM bring forward industry trends hot topics
  • Understand and be able to summarize and communicate what your clients do, know their Strat MAP, competitors, articulate your clients’ services and be able to summarize their Position
  • Oversee internal communication to galvanize the company to ensure scope is understood and strategic direction is kept on-point across all projects
  • Attend and maintain continual client contact through weekly meetings, quarterly client strategy sessions; day-to-day communication based on client relationship model
  • Face-to-face/be on the ground for executive meetings, strategic milestones and Sales meetings (if no marketing team)
  • Travel to client meetings/trade shows as needed
  • Setting expectations for results and continuously pointing back to goals
  • Keep client top of mind by proactively bringing forward new ideas or solutions that are in line with overall strategy, or identifying when an investment may grow the relationship
  • Review creative/project briefs from AM/PMs
  • Commit to the company processes/SOPs for managing clients that ensure on-time, on-budget, zero-defect materials
  • Identify changes in scope on projects and guide on when change orders or new projects are needed
  • Evaluate fit from internal and external perspective
  • Develop program converting leads to sales for clients
  • Increase performance on MQLs>SQLs, RFIs/Opportunities, visibility/awareness
  • Develop an approach and recommendation on reporting in collaboration with Dir. of Digital Strategy
  • Evaluate and build a plan for digital solutions revenue growth
